In the World of Geometry
Oliwski Ratusz Kultury / Oliwa Town Hall of Culture
2 August – 1 September 2019
Curator: Jarosław Pajek
In August, the Oliwa Town Hall of Culture will host another in this year presentation of works from the collection of the Centre of Polish Sculpture, titled In the World of Geometry. This time the Oliwa gallery will present works of outstanding artists using in their work the language of geometry. Although they share a similar direction of pursuits, they manifest dissimilar artistic stances. Next to artists understanding geometry as a form of expression where spiritual factor plays a major role, there are those whose works are an effect of formal and mathematical analyses.
