Can you transfer a tale? Can you move wonders from a Park to a Park? A Tale about the visible and the invisible?

We will be able to experience the answers to the questions in the vast grounds of the park at the Centre of Polish Sculpture in Orońsko during an exhibition of interactive installations prepared by artists and students of the Faculty of Intermedia and Faculty of Interior Design at the Jan Matejko Academy of Fine Arts in Krakow.

The exhibition which was previously presented at the Bednarski Park in Krakow has a character of a tale or a multimedia journey presenting the park in a new version. This time the artists will face a new space. They will create a garden of the light or a space inducing reflections, in which everyone will want to stay at least for a while. On the day of St. Lucy the Orońsko Park will become a place of contemplation or  reverie and we will start our countdown for the coming Christmas.

The event is held within the framework of the artistic and research project ‘Discrete space – unrevealed places’ conducted by Dr Alicja Duzel-Bilińska (WAW ASP) and Prof. Grzegorz Biliński (WI ASP). The authors’ idea is using new technologies and methods of intermedia art to arrange a special outdoor exhibition area, drawing attention to its cultural and ecological aspects.

The opening is accompanied by workshops for children and parents
